Today I am pleased to launch the new look WP App Store. The site has had a spruce up, giving more focus to the deals and introducing a blog. As soon as I took over the site I got it running on WordPress but straight after I spent time developing its administration to improve and automate some of the business workflow. It was high time for a design refresh.

Unfortunately I am more developer than designer, so although the site’s look and feel isn’t totally original and is very much on trend, I think it looks nice.

The deals

I have been lining up some great deals for the next month or so which I recommend checking out, and signing up if you haven’t already. The first couple of deals have been a great success and I hope to keep bringing more awesome offers for you. If there are any specific requests for a product or type of product then please email or tweet.

The blog

The blog currently holds the original posts from Brad back when he was running the WP App Store plugin, but from now on it will be a place I hope to deliver great content on WordPress plugins, themes and products. I hope to write product features, reviews and cover WordPress topics of interest. This will be a factor in my marketing attempts for the site.

If you want to advertise your WordPress product on WP App Store there is now a dedicated page with all the details and important numbers about running a deal, as well as a contact form.

What happened to the WP App Store Plugin?

The original WP App Store that sold themes and plugins directly has been shut down. Check out Brad’s blog post for details.

What do you think of the new look? Let me know if you come across anything not quite right.
